Studies show that interacting with pets and nature stimulates children’s learning and empathy, and of course is a lot of fun. Penny’s Place offers your child opportunities to fulfill this need while safely interacting with our rabbits, guinea pigs, pony, goat, Kune Kune pig, sheep, pet lambs, and chickens.  As well as experiencing the farm and natural environment, our focus is on the emergent curriculum and providing learning experiences that meet the changing interests and needs of each child.

We will provide a portfolio as a record of your child’s learning and development so you know exactly what stage he or she is at.

Penny’s Place is a small, fully licensed childcare centre that caters for a maximum of just 15 children so your child will reap the benefits of our high teacher to child ratios.

We have children aged six weeks to school age, and we pride ourselves on our relaxed family atmosphere providing plenty of opportunities for children of all ages to play together. Our varied and nutritious meals include lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and there is a special menu if your child has any allergies.
